Calathea Makoyana

Also known as the Peacock plant. From the family known as prayer plants, these are so beautiful.  They have fantastic leaf detailing with a lime green colour to their leaf. Splashes of dark red/brown running through their leaf.  During the light hours the leaves open up and during darker hours they will close.

Light - no direct sunlight.  Indirect light, dappled shade. 

Water - best watered when the top 1-2 inches become dry. They don’t want to ever completely dry out.
