Crass Hottentot
Crassula marnieriana, also known as 'Hottentot' or 'Jade Necklace', is a South African succulent with a trailing vine-like growth habit featuring small disc-shaped fleshy green leaves with red edges. It will produce clusters of small white or pink star-shaped flowers in winter or summer depending on conditions. This slow-growing succulent is excellent for hanging baskets or shelves, preferring bright, indirect light and well-draining soil and is often described as looking like a pot full of snakes or necklaces.
