Croton / Codiaeum
Croton plants botanically known as Codiaeum are brightly coloured and variegated with leathery leaves in shades of greens and yellows and reds. Colours vary from plant to plant. They are spectacular houseplants and they require bright but indirect light and regular watering to prevent leaf drop. There are toxic to pets and children if ingested.
